Hi, I’m Erin.
I write essays about identity, modern culture, and what it means to be human in an increasingly performative world.
Notes on Being Human began as a place to make sense of the quiet experiences we don’t always talk about openly - shame, loneliness, self-awareness, womanhood, and the complicated process of becoming ourselves.
My writing explores the tension between who we are, who we think we should be, and who society expects us to become.
This is a space for reflection rather than perfection. For slowing down, paying attention, living intentionally, and trying to understand ourselves a little more honestly.
Thank you for being here.
